Possibly one of the Lycogala sp complex, but really require more detail to be certain - size and habitat etc will help; were there more present, was it on wood, if so amount of decay etc - well spotted

@Teresa Hi Teresa, I've added another image that shows the surrounding vegetation. It was approx 6-7cm by 3-4cm. Unfortunately I couldn't get any closer for better pics.

@debhart thanks, then that sounds too big for a myxo - Lycogala is generally only 3-15 mm diameter
