A street tree planted not long ago by government; a young specimen about 1.5m tall and already producing seeds.
There are many Gl. planted along the street which seem to be sterile cultivars that don't produce fruits; however, we observe occasionally fruiting trees and there are also Gl. planted in nearby gardens that fruit as well. Government planting highly invasive species on public land seem to think that volunteers need to be entertained and will be happily remove for ever the invaders from nature reserves.
