Street tree planted not long ago; a young specimen about 1.5m tall and already producing seeds.
There are many Gl. planted along the street which are cultivars that don't produce fruits; however, there are also Gl. planted in nearby gardens that do. Government agency who direct planting highly invasive species on public land seem to think that volunteers need to be entertained and will be happily remove for ever the invaders from nature reserves.
