Yes, I agree. Looking at Moths of Victoria (Part 9) supporting disc for the Proteuxoa spp. it looks a good match for the identifying features the authors outline for the species:-
'prominent white orbicular spot; large buff-coloured reniform mark with a long tail; additional small white spot near forewing base'. The banded frontal face to the thorax matches too.
The authors also say P. marginalis is known to occur in NSW and the ACT.
