User's notes
I noticed that something had disturbed the kangaroos as I watched hundreds sprinting across the the whole width of the grasslands. Then a service vehicle appeared along the fenceline. As it then turned towards the old navel station the whole mob of kangaroos came sprinting back in the opposite direction. Eventually a number of them settled and stood in the paddack watching. Maybe more thant he estimated 400.
