The trees in the annulus of E. Bridgesiana in the Aranda Bushland were all seeded from the once great tree in the middle of the clearing, visible as a stag in the older photo, collapsed in the newer photo.

What condition is the mother tree in? Can we get an approximate girth and height?

The 'mother' tree died and collapsed but the we could measure the girth, presumably it could be drilled for dendrochronology work. I dare say we could estimate the height from photographs. I will try to measure the girth if there is enough of the trunk still remaining.
