This is either Melobasis purpurascens or M. splendida based on the current knowledge of Melobasis.
However the purpurascens group has not yet been revised by Brian Levey who is currently revising the genus, and it will no doubt lead to several new species as well as new synonyms and potential resurrections from synonymy.
As such I think the best way to treat this species until the revision is published is to simply call it Melobasis sp.
