Yes it is Acaena sp. Thredbo River Gorge (L.A.S.Johnson & E.F.Constable s.n., 19 Jan 1951) with those glabrous stems. We'll have to review this one Michael I think. Could you add the taxa, I cannot seem to at the moment :). @MichaelBedingfield just letting you i'm not able to add species for whatever reason as well.
