Thanks Stuart - I looked at options and thought it might be this one but as it is rare, I wasn't sure.

In my experience over seven years I wouldnt say it is rare at all but not common and not that easy to see; quite an active, quick jewel beetle. C. erasma is similar and found locally but less common in my experience. Well done!

This species has a reasonably wide range in the SE of Australia, including where rarely seen in what's left of the bush in the western suburbs of Sydney.
