I don't understand what was happening here. This cricket appeared trapped in a partially cut and webbed leaf. It was alive and making a cricket noise. I did not think it could get out but a while later it was gone.

This is its home! a leaf-rolling Gryllacridid. Great shot, keep it for next years photo competition! They all possess a femor-abdominal stridulatory mechanism, hence the common name raspy cricket (Dave Rentz), a ?defensive response.
