Ignota is such a nice species. It was always a pleasure seeing them when I was out in the Blue Mountains or southern NSW hinterland.

Definitely a TYBA species Mark! What I found interesting, and something I have observed before, is that larger casts (and temogs) seem to feed further in to a bush (safety) rather than being out on a limb, so to speak like more common and smaller spp.

They might be more aware of being predated on by birds 🤷‍♂️…. but I’ve seen heaps of large species right out in the open so it might be circumstantial and your imagination 😊

Or a bit of both.........I can count the Temogs I have seen on one hand Mark and look fwd to the day I see them 'dripping' off foliage!
