Not sure whether this is a Neocuris or perhaps an Anilara, Stu.

Looking at the key to the genera in Matthews I think it’s a Neocuris based on the shape of the base of the pronotum, however the colour is very Anilara like.
Please make sure it’s lodged in ANIC as at least half of all Neocuris are undescribed.

Thanks Mark and Kim, I will lodge this at ANIC eventually.

I agree with Mark. The instant I saw these pics I realised it might not be Neocuris, as the elytral apices are rather acute, thus non-typical for Neocuris, though they are a tad abbreviated. Kinda resembles Pseudanilara. But it's not Anilara (which may be a polymorphic genus anyway, given what Chuck Bellamy once told me). In any case, if at all possible, multiples, including both sexes, need to be collected and deposited into the ANIC. The possibility of this being an undescribed taxon is not remote. I am still chasing live specimens some of thee more unusual Temognatha from this part of NSW. Cheers, Allen M. Sundholm
