Or Coprinellus sp. The ochre tints in the centre of the cap are more suggestive of this this species; if Parasola they would be a red-brown.
Did it show signs of deliquescence?
After rain these often pop up on mulch,

@Teresa not that I saw, they degrade around the edges and shrivel a bit after opening, I didn't see any melting.

The caps show granular/scaly remnants of a universal veil - which rules out Parasola.
