Hi Ali, Many thanks for posting this. As with your recent record for Ring Tailed Possum, this is only the second record in the region between the ACT border and Lake George - Bungendore and again the prior record was also made in 2017 by Alice McGlashan https://canberra.naturemapr.org/sightings/3376583. Krefft's (Sugar) Gliders tend to be widespread wherever there is a shrub layer, especially if fox abundance is low but they are under-observed and under-reported. In contrast, Ring Tailed Possums are highly clumped, restricted to particular areas, e.g. Black Mt Nat Res., but I do not know what is responsible for this distinctive distribution.
