@MattM these seems to confirm our suspicion that valida doesn't occur in these parts at all. (These are verified by Lachlan Copeland, as well as my now pretty good experience with the species, so I'm 100% confident in the ID).

Hey Tina, 'true' Chiloglottis valida definetely does occur in the tinderries. See my record instance Chiloglottis valida (Large Bird Orchid)
I belive Chilo valida is also tallanganda, the two species seem to coexist.
