Found a small echidna wandering across Phillip District Oval. It was in good health and walking freely from one side of the oval towards the townhouses at the southern end. When I approached to look at it, it curled up happily for a little while before satisfying itself it was ok to continue.
Wide brim cricket hat for scale.
