User's notes

The echidna was sighted feeding on ants that were within a fallen branch. In the first image ants can be seen on the echidna's snout and on the spines around its face.

Terrific photos Tim, but can't be sure what the ant is. Most likely Iridomyrmex or Anonychomyrma. Cheers, Jon
