These monsters were sitting there and looked like a Choir - all moving their mouths at the same time.
Got some photos, then bent over to have a closer look and scared them off. If only they were a nice native species…

Are they zooplankton in photo? Similar large circular aggregations of carp are commonly observed in lower Sullivans creek.

Definitely Common Carp , coming up to Spawn ing season so they are starting to gather in numbers , introduced species that have degraded our Waterways .
