User's notes

Large numbers of flowering plants germinated in grassland which was comprehensively burnt in late April this year. How do small seeds from annual plants survive a hot burn? Even with the 2 dry months we've just experienced, flowering is heavy, though my second photo shows that basal leaves have largely dried off. The previous infestation here was posted on CNM as 16-100 in Sep-Oct 2020. Sad to find that burning is not the way to control such an abundant mass.
