User's notes

As a postscript I have since found 5 or 6 of these tiny wolf spiders carrying egg sacs all through my garden when I’m planting.

I’ve checked out the species identified and it explains why I was unable to get a decent shot of the spiders eyes. The female carries the egg sac connected to her spinnerets and keeps her abdomen elevated to keep the sac off the ground, hence keeps her face down. Apparently this is the only, or one of only a few species, that carries her egg sac on the abdomen.
