I note the following quotedfrom Lepidoptera Butterfly House:-
'This is probably the same species as Opsitycha squalidella, and Barea dryocoetes is the junior synonym, so it wiil likely be known as Opsitycha squalidella in future.
I;m not sure what the autority for this would be.
I see no reference on the Australian Faunal Directory that O. squalidela and B. dryocoetes are synonyms.
