Hi Lois @LPadg, this looks hellishly like a macropod scat to me. I even think I can see some plant fibre. My idea of echidna scats is: (i) surprisingly fat considering the size of animal, (ii) very cylindrical; (iii) composed of lots of dirt with some insect remains. Can you tell me anything to convince me I'm wrong about what it is?
