This is for the brown stem, not the pink flowers. Incidental to photographing other flowers.

I don't think Baloskion australe, but not able to suggest with confidence. It reminds me of Rumex acetosella.

I agree with Jane, Haloragis is probs unlikely given the companion dryland plants
