I think E rossii is correct, E rossii trees have both open and concealed scribbles, the latter are visible on the first photo and there seem to be compression lines present, which E mannifera doesn't have. E rossii usually has more buds / fruits in an umbel up to 12 compared to E mannifera up to 7, and the valves of the rossii fruits (gum nuts) are inconspicuous. The latter 2 characteristics are not visible on the photos but something to watch out for if you are interested to learn how to distinguish the 2 species which occur concurrently on Mt Majura..
