@SimonPDunstan Hi Simon, this could be a good pick-up and there is no reason why it wouldn’t be in the Canberra region, but I don’t think the species has been recorded on CNM before. ALA records show a couple of collections not far away, but it certainly doesn’t look common. Personally I would hesitate to call it based on such a specimen even though the ID looks pretty good. Maybe you could scan some of the older CNM records for Myrmecia to see if there were previous records that have been overlooked? If there were, it would give us greater confidence in the ID. As I said earlier, though, if you think the ID is very sure, then we can add it to the species list and you can confirm it. Cheers, Jon
