User's notes

I collected a cocoon early in the year and it had larvae feeding on it. I found it again and now there are beetles! Very small, reddish body, black head, antenna segments are all the same size. Larvae possibly https://canberra.naturemapr.org/sightings/4486146

Can you clean up the beetles with a sable paint brush and rephotograph if possible. Dermestids have clubbed antennae. Could be Ptinidae?

Ptinus sp., probably one of the introduced species.

@KimberiRP are there diagnostic features I should attempt to photograph?
