This is the first confirmed sighting of this species of Velvet Worm on NatureMapr. A fascinating and seldom seen creature.

Great sighting, we rarely get sightings of velvet worms outside of Tallaganda. I'm only suggesting Onychophora because I have no idea what else it could be. I am hoping @DaveRowell can confirm this for me.

Yes, this is an onychophoran. It looks like Ooperipatus sp., but would need some locality data to be sure.
