Carrying eggs/larvae into compost heap, apparently from hole in the ground on other side of the fence. Moving nest??
They don't like staying still for the paparazzi...

Hi jmcleod, maybe just moving brood around to give them the right temperature. Ants often shuffle brood to a warmer place if they want them to grow faster. Cheers, Jon
