User's notes

Is this a smoky mouse? Body ~10cm long, grey tail similar length, emerging from a grassy burrow by the upper Tumut River, inquisitive (came up to my boots as I was eating lunch).

Hi Ash W, lucky you. One of the most appealing local small mammals, Tooarrana or Broad Toothed Mouse, formerly called Broad Toothed Rat.
