Hi Shazw, Pretty sure you will find fallow and sambar are all through the area.

To reduce the reaction of animals, change camera models from a 'low glow' to 'no glow' model. The former uses near IR to detect animals and illuminate the picture (flash). It is visible in night vision scopes and some animals can see it. The latter uses far IR or thermal image. It is not detectable in night vision or by animals. I guess it might be seen with a thermal viewer? Noise reduction is also needed (cameras make a noise which some animals can hear) but that seems to go with the step up to no glow.
