Great photo. Not one of the 20 or so Lasiocampidae species for which we have caterpillar photos, so one of the 50 or so species whose caterpillars we do not know. Hope you can rear it for identification of the species. Every caterpillar you find is a chance to close one more gap in our ecological ignorance.
