Just to add, this is confirmed on iNaturalist and I've recorded the same species here (on iNat) for three years running, so although I'm never 100%, I'm fairly confident these are P reflexa. @Tapirlord @natureguy
Confirmed for consistency, but I think it is about time to ditch the extended Pterostylis. As much as that pains me. Def looks like reflexa, nice and plump and lacking the deeply notched sinus
@Tapirlord hmm, and replace with Diplodium? I'll be working in the ACT all of next week, so I'll have to use "your" terms 😅 (though I agree, Pterostylis takes up a huge amount of Copeland and Backhouse and it gets confusing as heck).
No, go back the other way. As much as I like all the extended names it has simply not got enough traction to justify nationally. It is a shame, particularly as so many groups of greenhoods are so easily distinguishable. For what it’s worth, I’ve only ever used Pterostylis as part of paid fieldwork. My employer is pretty keen on avoiding disputes, and fair enough too!!
