I feel Epilobium pallidiflorum is unlikely in this sort of habitat, it should be quite a big plant with long narrow leaves

I followed the PlantNet key for this. But happy to go with your experience and opinion.
One thing I noticed that many non-woody plants across range of species were considerably shorter than i had ever seen: which i attributed to elevation.
