Mmmmmm, this strikes me as trialing not twining. I’d suggest this is most like glycine tabacina

@Tapirlord though it doesn't show well in this photo, this was definitely twining. Had climbed along several small branches, with leaves and flowers along the length. I politely disagree, definitely Glycine microphylla.

Sweet ok, the twining habit detail pushes it over. Looking closely at the leaf reticulation, the secondary veins look close to 90 degrees from the midrib which also suggests G.microphylla, so let's leave things there.
