I'm not sure if the undescribed sp. is down this way but might be safer

Well there you go I wasn't aware there was an undescribed sp. in these parts !? I assumed it would be A. milleflorum given the form and leaves seemed to be similar to my "nearby" confirmed 15 Jan 2022 sighting (4499009) approx 250m to the northwest in the same paddock?

The undescribed species is very similar to A.milleflorum, they differ in colour and form of the anthers

Ok thanks guys. So the confirmed presence of A. milleflorum at the same site is not sufficient to conclude its ID. Good to know that I need a pic of the flowers to resolve ID - something which I may not get this flowering season!

@natureguy & @Tapirlord note confirmation of Margaret Ning's sighting almost 2 months later of A. milleflorum (Arthropodium milleflorum (Vanilla Lily)) at pretty much the same location as mine. So I'd say this strengthens the case to change the ID for mine to A. milleflorum?

Yeah it does seem likely, and honestly A.milleflorum was always going to be the best option at this site I think. In the strict sense we really can't tell, but let's go with it on a 'most likely'
