Roger Farrow sent in this record and noted that yesterday - "I starting spraying the St john’s Wort, my usual entertainment for the Christmas period. I noticed some greenish aphids on the stem of a small SJW, actually it was the attending ants that drew my attention. Knowing how host specific some aphids are, I checked the internet and found that Aphis chloris had been released in 1995 for biocontrol of SJW but was a failure although established."
