User's notes

From afar, it looked like a Bursaria spinosa - but on closer inspection it turned out to be a tea tree. Don't know which species this is - but certainly a tea tree of some sort. Any ideas?

Sannatha, these are native around the coast

Thanks Kiran - just one good size plant - nothing much around it - but a great attractor of insects (at the moment). I think we observe how it is doing and if it is locally invasive (so far no other bushes around it), rather than removing it. Take care Christian.

That sounds like a good approach to me, I don’t reckon it’ll be invasive either
