I think so, see this discussion Bedfordia arborescens (Blanket Bush) - a similar plant from Tallaganda. The leaves seem quite long and narrow but I believe this is the right ID.

@natureguy it actually is as simple as counting the 'petals' - which now that I've done, confirms your ID. This plant has around 5 'petals' per flower head, which matches the info given for that species (4-9 petals), and not for O lirata (10-16 petals). Good call!
