User's notes

I am unsure what this is. Is it a Livistona sp. - either the native or the chinensis variety? If it is the native, it does grow in an area that is typically wet - i.e. near a big puddle with frogs. But it would be out of its typical range (near the coast).

I’d ask Luke, he knows his exotics better than I do!

At such an immature stage it's hard to be certain I reckon, but there were a few sightings of Washingtonia on CNM recently, I'd wonder about that here

Thanks guys. I put this on because initially I thought it was an introduced species - but then had some second thoughts. It seems that you think it is likely exotic, too. If that is the case, I will remove in the next couple of days. Thanks and cheers Christian.

Either way, Livistonia wouldn't be native to the local area, so probably worth removing yes. Thanks

It's definitely a palm, and definitely introduced & definitely worth removing!
