A group of grape-like fungi at the base of an old stump.

@Margo hiya! With fungi, for accurate ID it is best if we can see the stem (if there is one), the gills/pores/underside, the cap/upperside, and the substrate it is growing on. This one I'm confident on, given your description, but just for future reference. :)
