User's notes

Truly awful photo. Head and two front pairs of legs were bright yellow. Body was bright red with yellow tip. Hind legs red and yellow. Would land on the grass and vanish. Otherwise it was flying. I am assuming an ichneumid wasp. Very striking in appearance.
