This is a new species of the Glyphipyerix (genus) for this Canberra Naturemapr region if confirmed. With apparently 56 named species in the genus there is apparently plenty of scope to photograph more such species. The equisite purple iridescent highlights are a feature of this species. Records online so far seem to be mainly from Victoria near Melbourne, but it is also known to occur in Tasmania and NSW. Excellent photos.
