Interesting flush, I rarely see these out of season, though lots of other mushies are opportunistic. I presume these emerged due to the heavy rains the other week.
@MichaelMulvaney Yes, definitely S granulatus. Too dried out to see the characteristic "weeping", but the granulation on the stipe and lack of an annulus rules out S luteus. (I'm a massive fungi nerd - got into them far before plants!)
