One plant along reveg line of Belco Trunk Sewer Augmentation project.
Flowers are globose with many small bracts. No spines so not thistle? Leaves are entire, narrow and hairy, flowers bud in their axils. Stem is brown and hairy. Basal leaves narrow and erect.
