Thanks Alison. My insect knowledge is pretty rudimentary. I should have left it at “unidentified insect”.

@SilkeSma Insects can be difficult. It is acutally better to suggest an insect you think it might be rather than leave it at unidentified insect. This way it is more likely to be sent to a Moderator who can suggest a better option. Not everyone looks at Unidentified insects.
My insect knowledge was quite lacking when I first started posting also but I have learned so much, so thanks for your postings and keep perservering. It's amazing what you will learn.
