I can see why you suggest Peziza, but the hairy outer surface is an obstacle. Pezizas may have smooth to scurfy outer surfaces but I can't think of one that is so hairy. One possibility is that this is a Pezza infected with a mould, but I'm not convinced. For now I'll have to leave it in the unidentified cup fungi.
