Note that it is on a vegetated corridor running west from Isaacs Ridge. However if it did travel from that nature reserve, there are 5 named streets it must have negotiated, either through unofficial 'wildlife underpasses' such as drainage culverts, cycleways etc, or by actually crossing the roadways. By attention to the design, and the location, of road features (such as drainage structures) it would be possible to make the many vegetated corridors in Canberra a lot more friendly for small ground hugging animals such as frogs, reptiles, and small to medium mammals.
