This is an interesting looking plant. I don't feel confident enough or knowledgeable enough to assist with an ID for this individual. T. purpura looks like it could be a good contender for this plant, but it is quite out of range. I will have to make an effort to visit these difficult sun orchids next year so I can learn more about them and provide better IDs.

Thank you - that would be wonderful. There were only a few orchids this year, I think the dryness of the season may have affected them?

Absolutely. Many orchids opted not to flower this year and conserve their energy. Hopefully the next year is better for them.
