Mainly a southern (Tasmania and southern Victorian) species. Two records in NSW INaturalis and the ALA), so maybe relatively uncommon in the ACT.

The dark post-medial elliptical blob on the forewing costa is unlike the 'V' shaped markings in that area shown by the E. euphona specimens pictured on LBH. Also the dark fascia on the forewing margin near the tornus is not present on the LBH photos. These features are present on the female Epitymbia isoscelana.

This is a new species for CNM when confirmed.
A sexually dimorphic species. This is the distinctively different female.
