Leaves and flower structure look like D. sericea, but flower colour almost totally lacks any yellow and from a distance of 2 to 3 m look red as opposed to yellow/orange as D. sericea would normally appear.

Flowers can be variable, some completely yellow, to red, orange and pinkish

Thanks. I suspected that but couldn't find any reference to it. Quite a striking contrast to the nearby Pultenaea procumbens.
