Not sure i can see the upward pointing backward curved palps which would confirm its Oecophoridae family.

Those could be the antennae of a Syrphid. @JamonSmallgoods : did you see it fly? Did it hover? Were the wings transparent?

Yes it was a hover fly with transparent wings.
